This 3 day workshop delves into the neuroscience to explain and demonstrate WHY and HOW to use the Perrin TechniqueTM to help patients’ recovery from Long-Covid and restore healthy lymphatic drainage from the brain following Covid-19 infection or vaccination.
With plenty of hands on practical training to show the full diagnostic and treatment procedures developed by Dr Perrin and bringing together the post-pandemic context, the background science and Dr Perrin’s clinical findings, this workshop aimed for osteopaths, physical therapists and other manual therapists, with a basic knowledge of cranial techniques, will explain how structural and neuro-immunological problems can lead to the symptoms of Long-Covid.
It is ideal for osteopaths, health practitioners and physical therapists wishing to understand the disorder and how to help the many patients needing their help. “Through the Looking Glass," Dr. Perrin's new book on Long COVID takes practitioners through the confusion around what Long-Covid really is and out the other side where it is possible to have a much clearer view of how The Perrin Technique™️ will work and why.
PERRIN TECHNIQUE
The Perrin Technique™ is an osteopathic approach developed in 1989, originally for ME/CFS, that aims to manually drain toxins from the cerebrospinal fluid into the lymphatic system. Movement of the spine and massage of the soft tissues in the head, neck, back and chest direct all the toxins out of the lymphatic system and into the blood, where they are eventually detoxified in the liver.
Eventually, with less poisons affecting the central nervous system, the hypothalamus and the sympathetic nervous system begin to function correctly, restoring health to the patient.
